Hetton

Across its 4,000 acres, Hetton Estate offer a great variety of shooting including pheasant, partridge and duck. Strategically positioned game plots combined with existing and newly planted woodland make Hetton Estate a true El Dorado for shooting. For extra variety, there are several duck ponds, both for driven duck as well as for an evening flight. Hetton Estate has the use of a very exclusive shooting hut, equipped for everything.

ford and etal

The 12,000 acre Ford & Etal Estates are in the ownership of Lord Joicey and lie in beautiful hill landscape which lies between the small towns of Wooler and Coldstream. 

Ford & Etal Estates are well known for their driven pheasant shooting of very high quality. Alongside this there are plenty of opportunities for walk-up/rough shooting. Given the right weather conditions in December and January; large numbers of woodcock are present.

Bywell Shooting Ground at Felton is a family run business established over 25 years ago. With a reputation for some of the UK’s best targets, and first class tuition, the ground’s high standards are of world class quality.

Bywell is one of a handful of Clay Shooting Grounds to be awarded Premier Plus status by the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association. Bywell has played host to many major shooting competition such as The World DTL Championship, European Championship, British & English Championships.

bilsley at braidwood

Located on a stunning estate in the Scottish Borders just south of Edinburgh overlooking the Eildon Hills. Braidwood boasts Scotland’s largest and most versatile clay shooting ground, incidentally hosting the Scottish Championships in 2013, as well as being home to the country’s first full-bore rifle pipe range.

Bisley at Braidwood offers the same world-leading facilities and tuition as its sister club in Surrey and is a destination for all the family.

Outside catering

We can provide outside catering to local shoot parties in the form of hearty elevenses and shoot lunches. Our menus vary depending on the season; elevenses include a range of exquisite canapés with a touch of Sloe Gin & Champange to help warm you up, and for lunch we serve anything from warm duck salad, to home made game pie, hearty home made soup and venison dishes, all made from the freshest of ingredients and very well received. And we always send you on your way with a good strong cup of tea or coffee.
